It is
with much enthusiasm that I enter the role of Vice Principal at Ross School.
I am aware of this school’s excellent reputation and the effort and commitment
the Ross School teachers, support staff, and administrators have poured into
their work here. The commitment by all
participants on the staff and parent community to maintain high expectations
and achieve meaningful collaborative partnerships with one sole focus – student
success – is a noble one. I am honored
to join the team and continue this excellent work.
My 20
years of experience in education have provided me with a plethora of
educational experiences. I began my
teaching career on the island of Saipan in the Commonwealth of the Northern
Marianas Islands, teaching Language Arts to a diverse population of students. I returned to California and taught on the
campus of Stanford University in a progressive elementary school for several
years before moving to Marin County where I have continued to teach and been an
administrator at a neighboring elementary school.
Besides
my role as Vice Principal at Ross School, you may see me on the soccer field
with my own children (a 9th grader and a 3rd grader),
hiking around the hills in Marin, or participating in local athletic endeavors.
I look
forward to the school year ahead and getting to know the students, families,
and culture at Ross School. Please feel free to contact me at kfish@rossschool.k12.ca.us or call 457-2705 x206 or stop in to
say hello!
