Ms. Lubamersky is the 5-8 Principal and Director of Curriculum and Instruction. Maria holds a master’s degree in educational leadership and worked as a middle school Spanish and English teacher for over 20 years in the Miller Creek School District. She has served most recently as the Assistant Principal of White Hill Middle School and was dean of students at Parkside in San Bruno before that. Maria speaks Spanish fluently and has experience providing strong instructional leadership. 

Maria loves working with middle school students. She believes that the student should be the center of the middle school learning process. She also believes that building relationships creates a foundation for student engagement and learning.

Maria lives with her husband in San Rafael. They are empty nesters for the first time as they have three college aged kids. She likes to travel, read, and spend time with her family and friends.
