COAST MIWOK LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT
Ross School stands on the unceded ancestral lands of the Coast Miwok. As an academic institution, it is the responsibility of Ross School to educate our school community about the Native peoples whose history is tied to these lands. We strive to respect and honor past, present, and future generations of Coast Miwok. We recognize the Coast Miwok people as the traditional owners of this land, and we acknowledge the displacement of, and injustice against, Native peoples throughout the history of this nation. The Ross Board of Trustees, Ross School administrators, staff, students, and community acknowledge and thank the Coast Miwok for its contribution to the success of Ross School.
