All Ross School students have SORA accounts. Sora is a student reading app that gives kids access to ebooks and audiobooks from our school library—and even the public library—all in one place!  Whether at home, on the go, or lounging on a summer afternoon, students can enjoy books anytime, anywhere. Click here for a short Sora video.

    Why You’ll Love It:
Instant access to ebooks and audiobooks.
    Kid-friendly and easy to navigate.
    Read or listen offline.
Tracks progress and encourages reading goals.

    Getting Started is Easy:
Go to https://soraapp.com or download the Sora app on your device.
Click "Find my school" and select Ross School District (search by zip code if needed).

Student usernames are:  first initial, last name, and 2 digit year of their 8th grade graduation (e.g., Ross Bear, a second-grader, graduates from 8th grade in 2031, so their username would be ‘rbear31

Optional: Link the public library for even more book choices! Our students have access to ‘Marinet’ titles through Sora–when logged into Sora, in the upper left corner of the “Explore” page, tap ‘add a library’, then search for, and add, Marinet. If prompted to login to Marinet, use the Ross School username again, it should only ask on your first login.
