Facilities Use

The Board of Trustees recognizes that district facilities are a community resource whose primary purpose is to be used for school programs and activities. The Board authorizes the use of school facilities by community groups for purposes provided for in the Civic Center Act when such use does not interfere with school activities. (Ed Code 38131).
 
Please refer to the documents below for information on District policy regarding Use of School Facilities and for the required documents for rental of school facilities by outside groups and organizations. To process a facilities reservation request, please complete and submit to the District Office the Facility Use Application/Permit, Hold Harmless Agreement and Facilities Use Statement.

Flyer Distribution and Announcements

Ross School District administration reviews all requests for flyer distribution and/or community announcements to the school community. 

To be considered, the following requirements must be met:

  • Program/activity is offered to our local community 
  • Program/activity is specifically for the K-8 age group
  • Organization must be a non-profit OR must use Ross School facilities

To submit a request to the District Office, please complete this form.

If approved, flyers must be provided in PDF form for distribution via e-newsletter. Paper flyers may also be distributed on a case-by-case basis.
